STATGRAPHICS Six Sigma Statistics Wizards
Six Sigma is a set of techniques and procedures designed to improve the quality of goods and services by systematically eliminating defects or other system failures. It makes extensive use of statistical methods, many of which may be unfamiliar to individuals without formal training in statistics. This web site presents a series of wizards covering the use of statistics in Six Sigma. Each wizard explains the relevant topics and guides the user through the analysis of typical data, using either a sample data set or actual data entered by the user.
The wizards are grouped according to the type of data to be analyzed:
Variable Data
Characterizing Variable Data
Using the Fitted Distribution
Estimating Short-Term Process Variability
Process Capability Analysis for Variable Data
Monitoring Variable Data
You must run the first wizard in each group before the others will be available.
